Nominations are now open for SEA Executive Board, WEA RA and NEA RA!!!

**All nominations must be received through the electrionic forms linked below**.  A member in good standing may nominate themselves or another member in good standing.  If you have any questions please contact SEA at 325-4503.

SEA Election Information

The following positions are up for election this year:

  • Ferris Zone Director (2 year term)
  • Lewis and Clark Zone Director (2 year term)
  • Rogers Zone Director (2 year term)
  • Shadle Zone Director (2 year term)
  • Educational Support Professional Co-Chair (2 year term)
  • 30 Delegates to WEA Representative Assembly (April 19-21, 2018)
  • 2 Delegates to NEA Representative Assembly (June 30-July 5, 2018)

Nominations:

Nominations for WEA RA Delegates will open on January 24, 2018 during the SEA Representative Council meeting at 4:15 PM. All nominations must be submitted via the electronic nomination form which will be emailed to all members.

Nominations will close on

January 31, 2018 at 4:00 PM.

  Nominations must be made by a member of the Spokane Education Association in good standing. To be eligible for any position, the nominee must be a member in good standing.  All nominated members will be contacted to confirm nominations.

Nominations:

Nominations for Zone Directors, ESP Co-Chair and NEA RA Delegates will officially open on January 24, 2018 during the SEA Representative Council meeting at 4:15 PM. All nominations must be submitted via the electronic nomination form which will be emailed to all members.

Nominations will close on February 21, 2018 at the end of the Rep Council Meeting.

Election

The election of the Spokane Education Association WEA RA Delegates shall be by electronic secret ballot vote.

The election period for WEA RA Delegates will open at 8:00 AM on February 14, 2018 and close on February 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM.

Each member shall receive an email with the link and login information when the voting period has opened.

WEA and NEA delegates shall be elected by the full membership and in accordance the WEA and NEA constitutions and bylaws.

Electronic results will be sent to the Nominations and Election Committee following the conclusion of the voting period.

Election

The election of the Spokane Education Association Zone Directors, ESP Co-Chair and NEA RA Delegates shall be by electronic secret ballot vote.

The election period for Zone Directors, ESP Co-Chair and NEA RA Delegates will open at 8:00 AM on March 8, 2018 and close on March 22, 2018 at 4:00 PM.

Each member shall receive an email with the link and login information when the voting period has opened.

Officer positions shall be elected by the full membership.  Zone directors shall be elected by membership within the zone. 

Electronic results will be sent to the Nominations and Election Committee following the conclusion of the voting period.

Run-Off Election (if necessary)

In the event no candidate in a contested election receives a majority of the votes cast, a run-off election will be held between the two (2) candidates receiving the most votes.

If necessary, the run-off election period will open at 8:00 AM on February 27,2018 and close on February 28, 2018 at 4:00 PM.
